Apart from calibrated inspection of airspeed-indicator and altimeter, test instrument I-PK 09 by Winter Instruments additionally leak test of accumulation- and static-systems in aircraft. Integral instruments can be tested directly in the aircraft. Alternatively, functions of dismantled instruments can be checked separately and displayed values can be verified. This allows for fault localization e.g. of erroneous or delayed and accelerated readings also in the scope of field tests.
Test instrument I-PK 09 comes in a handy, portable test kit and with a powerful battery of more than 500 hours standby time in between single charge cycles. Thus, you are independent from power supply and can move about freely on the airfield and inside the hangar.
